After projects in many European and African countries, Screen Visions is now making its debut Down Under. The Stuttgart-based specialists in LED and large-format video systems are accompanying Dutch star violinist André Rieu on his “Romantic Vienna Night” tour of Australia.
The European tour stops, with their gigantic stage set and almost 300 square meters of video screens, were already a special project for Screen Visions because “Romantic Vienna Night” is currently the world’s largest outdoor production. In Australia, a tight schedule and the strains of a multi-week tour add another challenge. The first trouble-free deployments in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth showed, however, why André Rieu placed his trust in the expertise of the six-member Screen Visions team. Managing Director Roger Rinke is also satisfied with the tour: “Thanks to the team’s experience, all the concert deployments were highly successful, and we are already delighted with this unique international assignment.”
For Screen Visions, reaching the fifth continent is a fitting high point in its work for André Rieu. For more than six years, the Stuttgart company has served as general supplier of the video walls for nearly all of the star violinist’s outdoor shows.
