Sebastian Gassner Takes Charge of Sales at CinePostproduction Geyer Cologne

Sebastian Gassner will take over sales at CinePostproduction Geyer Cologne on January 1, 2009. He previously spent four years at ma.ja.de. filmproduktion, where he had led the Leipzig office since 2007. As production manager, Gassner was responsible for the development, production, post-production and controlling of numerous national and international cinema and television documentaries.

The industrial engineer, who studied media management at Stuttgart Media University, is looking forward to his new role: “In recent months, CinePostproduction Geyer Cologne has expanded its digital workflow and now offers a comprehensive range of HD and digital feature-film processing services.” The Cologne grading suite with Lustre and a Barco Digital Cinema projector is one of four Baselight and Lustre suites operated by CinePostproduction, enabling cinema-film grading with 2K projection that matches the look of 35mm film on a cinema screen. Additional cinema suites will open soon in Munich and Hamburg.
