They are based on the latest generation of NVIDIA GPUs: the GeForce GTX 295 and GeForce GTX 285 chipsets. With 9,126 points in the 3DMark Vantage Extreme preset, the ENGTX295 is currently the world’s fastest graphics card. The ASUS ENGTX285 ULTIMATE and ENGTX285 TOP deliver up to 10% and 5% more performance respectively, particularly noticeable in modern DirectX 10 games and CUDA™ applications. Both series include a voucher for US$25 or a 10% discount on up to five games or CUDA™ applications purchased through NZONE.
Up to 10% Performance Upgrade
On the ENGTX285 ULTIMATE, the standard GPU clock is increased from 648 MHz to 712 MHz, the memory clock from 1,476 MHz to 1,620 MHz, and the GPU shader clock from 2,484 MHz to 2,760 MHz. On the ENGTX285 TOP, the standard GPU clock rises from 648 MHz to 670 MHz, the memory clock from 1,476 MHz to 1,550 MHz, and the GPU shader clock from 2,484 MHz to 2,600 MHz. These modifications improve the ENGTX285 ULTIMATE and ENGTX285 TOP results in the 3DMark Vantage Extreme preset from 6,003 points to 6,607 and 6,298 points respectively—speed increases of 10% and 5% compared with other graphics cards at standard clock rates. The two graphics cards therefore extract every last bit of performance from games.
Innovative ASUS GamerOSD for Versatile Applications
Both the ASUS ENGTX295 and ENGTX285 series include the exclusive ASUS GamerOSD. This feature allows the GPU clock speed to be increased during gameplay and provides users with a convenient performance upgrade whenever needed. ASUS GamerOSD also enables live recording of gameplay. It can even broadcast a live stream of gameplay over the internet.
Overclocking GPU Shaders with the New SmartDoctor
ASUS is the world’s first manufacturer to offer SmartDoctor, an overclocking utility that allows the GPU shader clock to be changed. The tool enables users to increase shader and engine clock speeds independently. This makes significant performance increases possible without restarting the PC or reflashing the VGA card’s BIOS.
Voucher for Games and CUDA Applications
Both graphics-card series include a voucher giving buyers a discount of up to US$25 or 10% on as many as five games or CUDA™ applications purchased through the NZONE website. The offers include current games and the latest CUDA applications, such as Badaboom, allowing users to exploit the full performance of the graphics cards.
Speak Visual with Graphics Plus
The ASUS ENGTX295 and ENGTX285 series feature CUDA technology, which provides both an excellent gaming experience and the new Graphics Plus enhancements. Users experience stunning PhysX gaming effects, stereoscopic 3D images with GeForce 3D™ glasses (not included), and fast video and image editing. The ASUS ENGTX295 and ENGTX285 series graphics cards therefore offer the best performance for every type of application, whether image and video editing or gaming.
