On 20 March 2009, Europe’s largest computer games league gives the starting signal in Munich for the fourteenth season of the eSport Bundesliga, the ESL Pro Series. With 165,000 euros, it is Germany’s most richly endowed league for professional computer gaming.
In the disciplines Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike:Source and FIFA 2009, professional players compete live in front of an audience for valuable points in the contest for the German championship in electronic sport and for 165,000 euros in prize money.
