Euphonix’s Artist Series media controllers offer a wide range of control options for professional music applications including Pro Tools and Logic Studio. This enables MC Control and MC Mix to be integrated flexibly into SAE Institute’s broad curriculum.
“SAE Institute is the leading provider of media education. We are therefore delighted that our MC Control and MC Mix products will be used in SAE’s state-of-the-art training centers,” explains Martin Kloiber, CEO of Euphonix. “The performance and flexibility of the Artist Series are a perfect fit for SAE’s study concept. Students now have the opportunity to work with media controllers compatible with virtually any audio and video software.”
SAE focuses on innovative teaching methods, practical work with state-of-the-art equipment and a broad range of courses. Theory and practice are combined meaningfully and consistently aligned with the requirements of the media industry. Core topics in audio engineering include acoustics, studio technology, signal flow, analog and digital mixing consoles, sampling and sequencing, radio and television technology, and microphone and loudspeaker technology. At SAE, exciting projects on which students work every day are a central instrument for conveying knowledge.
“During their training, our students learn to use a wide range of hardware and software,” says SAE founder Tom Misner. “Euphonix is one of the leading manufacturers of professional audio equipment, which this collaboration makes accessible to our students. They can test and experiment extensively, building comprehensive practical knowledge and expertise for their future careers—true to our motto, ‘Learning by doing.’”
SAE Institute students can earn the SAE Diploma in just one year. In the exceptionally fast-moving media industry, this is an enormous advantage in terms of both time and cost. A student can then earn a Bachelor of Arts after only one additional year. Building on that, a master’s degree can be completed part-time within another year.
