With a broad range of topics in its free lecture program, more than 20 speakers will cover the full spectrum of mobile communication for the B2B market at BMW Welt in Munich on 22 and 23 January 2009 under the heading “Business Solutions for Media, Advertising and Sales with Mobile Phones.”
The program begins on the open workshop stage on 22 January with “Kick-Off Mobile Market 2009” by Olav A. Waschkies, deputy chairman of the BVDW’s Mobile specialist group. YOC AG will then present an innovative mobile project being implemented in cooperation with Mercedes-Benz.
Johannes Ewers of Detecon International will examine ways to use intelligent subscriber management to make mobile offerings even more customer-focused. Agency denkwerk will ask whether mobile phones are generally suitable as a channel for m-commerce solutions. Other contributions on the first day include Solidground’s “Hollywood in Pocket Format” and a presentation by the Zukunft Digital association.
Klaus Menhorn of comScore M:Metrics will open the workshop series on the second congress day, 23 January 2009, with “Latest German Mobile Media Insights.” Harald Neidhardt, CMO of smaato, will then moderate the “International Innovators Roundtable” with experts from the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and Germany. M-Days has invited young innovators to discuss tomorrow’s mobile trends. Start-ups in design, social communities, mobile applications and mobile services will discuss and present with Antony Ribot of ribot—Design in the UK; Christopher Billich, infinita consultant in Japan; Stefanie Hoffmann of aka in Berlin; and Lubna Dajani of Stratemerge and Mobile Monday New York in the US. The topic is an assessment of where the mobile world stands today and the future potential of innovative ideas.
Sevenval and Deutsche Post will present the mobile services of Germany’s largest postal-service provider. DeviceAnywhere will demonstrate ways to make mobile applications work optimally on a wide variety of mobile devices.
