regioactive.de has established itself through extensive live reporting and support for emerging talent. The online music platform combines a magazine, band portal and netlabel and currently hosts 10,000 emerging bands and solo artists.
SAE Institute is supporting production of the CD together with Messe Frankfurt, beyerdynamic and Musikhaus Thomann. The sampler will feature selected emerging bands from across Germany and will be distributed free of charge at the participating companies’ booths during Musikmesse Frankfurt.
A partner network spanning online, print and radio media as well as event organizers will provide continued support to the featured bands.
Participation is free for the artists. Bands from any genre could apply to regioactive.de for the sampler until February 20, 2009.
