Gefen’s new GTV-DD-2-AA digital-to-analogue converter transforms digital multichannel formats up to 5.1 Dolby Digital into two-channel analogue left/right signals for transmission to analogue audio systems without additional external equipment. It accepts audio from TOSLINK or S/PDIF sources and supplies a complementary analogue signal to an existing hi-fi system. Users can play digital audio from sources such as DVD or CD players through existing analogue devices including active loudspeakers and amplifiers. Its compact dimensions allow unobtrusive integration into existing systems.
