A digital audio source connects to the splitter’s TOSLINK input. The Digital Audio Splitter accepts one TOSLINK signal and distributes it to two digital audio outputs. Two TOSLINK cables then carry the signal to separate receivers.

The compact splitter can be integrated into an existing audio system and is powered by a 5 V DC adapter. Cable runs of up to five metres are supported on each side. The unit handles two-channel PCM and multichannel audio.
