The animation industry is one of the fastest-growing media sectors. “A future-focused award like animago AWARD belongs in a media hub like Potsdam-Babelsberg,” said Matthias J. Lange, animago lead.
Thanks to support from the Berlin-Brandenburg Medienboard, animago now has even greater standing within the industry.
As a major competition running for 13 years, animago AWARD is an impressive showcase of industry craftsmanship. Films like Ratatouille, virtual worlds like Second Life and games like World of Warcraft—and most of the featured TV spots—would not be possible without animation.
