Before HD filming begins, the complete workflow must be defined: intended delivery formats, camera settings and decisions deferred to postproduction. HD offered numerous possibilities and pitfalls, and not every camera suited every project.
The seminar addressed these questions and important workflow decisions before shooting, relating different camera HD formats to ARD and ZDF broadcast standards and other potential content distributors. It also covered HDCAM.
Part two, held on May 8, 2009, addressed postproduction and mastering.
Cameras from Sony, Panasonic and RED were available.
