Training provider SAE opened its German institutes on May 17 to people interested in audio, film and web careers. Branches in Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich, Cologne, Stuttgart and Leipzig held simultaneous open days covering SAE, training programmes and possible professions.
From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., lecturers, students and institute directors answered questions and explained the SAE concept. Visitors could tour institutes and studios, attend presentations and equipment demonstrations, and view student projects.
SAE Marketing Director Götz Hannemann said interest had been growing steadily and the institutes expected strong attendance.
School leavers aged 16 or above with an intermediate school qualification could train as multimedia generalists. SAE described its approach as combining innovative teaching, modern equipment, practical orientation and creative development. Students could earn an SAE diploma after one year and a bachelor’s degree after another year, followed by a part-time master’s programme.
