Cevat Yerli, CEO and President of game developer Crytek (“Far Cry,” “Crysis”), will deliver a keynote titled “The Future of Gaming Graphics” at the Game Developers Conference Europe (GDC).
According to the organisers, Yerli will discuss Crytek’s experience developing 3D technology for games on PCs and next-generation consoles and offer a perspective on rendering over the next three to five years.
Other planned keynote speakers include Gameforge CEO Klaas Kersting (“Changes in the Games Industry - Free-to-Play vs. Payment Models”) and Remedy Managing Director Matias Myllyrinne (“From Max Payne to Alan Wake: Creating Intellectual Properties the Remedy Way”).
The Game Developers Conference Europe will take place at the Cologne Congress Centre from 17 to 19 August 2009. Programme and registration information is available on the organiser’s website.
