Pixelpark has redeveloped the corporate website http://www.native-instruments.com for Native Instruments. With the relaunch, Native Instruments underlines its pioneering role in innovative software and hardware for computer-based music production. The rich-media approach, integration of Web 2.0 functionality and an intelligent navigation concept turn the website into a visual and auditory experience. http://www.native-instruments.com is one of the world’s most heavily visited music-technology websites. Pixelpark won the relaunch pitch against leading international web agencies.
Since the relaunch in June 2009, visitors have been able to immerse themselves emotionally in the electronic club scene. The new presence includes a multimedia stage that relies entirely on moving images: videos and audio examples show the products in use, while interactive tours explain the products. Showcases featuring artists and club life, along with live recordings of gigs, round out the media presentation. Intuitive navigation and filtering functions make using the site an experience.
“Our goal was to bring emotion and information into perfect symbiosis. The rich-media approach is only logical: it enables complete immersion in the world of electronic music, encounters with the artists and insights into their exciting work. Product details can be accessed seamlessly on request,” says Petra Raddatz, Director Sales & Marketing at Pixelpark in Berlin.
As early as October 2008, Pixelpark created a Flash-based microsite at http://www.listentopro.com for Native Instruments to present two new DJ products. “For us, the internet has now become the central pillar of marketing and service,” says Ansgar Gerling, Head of Online at Native Instruments. “Pixelpark has developed a website whose innovative functionality and high-quality appearance fulfil this role superbly.”
