To achieve greater data consistency within the pipeline, data generated with PFTrack 5.0 is fed into the applications being used. PFPipe provides integration of the tracking software into third-party applications.
PFPipe is a C API that reads PFTrack projects and the camera and distortion data they contain. In addition to access to this data, all project links to footage and clips are supported.
To illustrate how the pipeline integration solution works, developer The Pixel Farm is making the PFBarrel, PFCameraImport and PFDataCombiner tools available to all PFTrack 5.0 users.
