California manufacturer Neyrinck today presented its new SoundCode Stereo LtRt software. SoundCode Stereo LtRt encodes 5.1 surround into stereo material compatible with Pro Logic I and Pro Logic II decoders. Flexibility, simplicity and time-saving functions make SoundCode Stereo LtRt an indispensable tool for post-production studios, television mixers, video-game mixers and broadcasters that need to create stereo audio signals compatible with the Pro Logic decoders used worldwide. SoundCode Stereo LtRt can be used as a TDM, RTAS and AudioSuite plug-in and is available now from specialist retailers. The recommended retail price is EUR 320. The software is also included free with SoundCode for Dolby E.
SoundCode Stereo LtRt is a unique surround encoder that can be operated in TDM, RTAS and AudioSuite. This finally gives AudioSuite users the ability to create an LtRt faster than real time. Simply select a finished 5.1 mix from the timeline and encode it directly in Pro Tools. SoundCode Stereo LtRt also includes an excellent-sounding brickwall limiter that further simplifies use. Set the brickwall limit according to the desired specifications and encode the signal without having to fear clipping. Since SoundCode Stereo LtRt functions as a TDM plug-in, Pro Tools HD users can now also monitor and check downmixes in larger mixing sessions without worrying about CPU load. SoundCode Stereo LtRt also has selectable meters including VU, PPM BBC and PPM Nordic.
