On August 21, German audiences will have their first opportunity to see almost 20 minutes of footage from the eagerly anticipated film highlight Avatar, which opens in cinemas throughout Germany on December 17.
James Cameron conceived the story for the film 14 years ago, but at that time the technical possibilities for realizing his vision did not exist. Now, after four years of active production work, Avatar offers an entirely new cinema experience in both 2D and 3D.
In this epic fantasy adventure, James Cameron, the successful director of “Titanic,” takes us into a fascinating new world beyond the limits of our imagination. Together with Jake Sully, viewers immerse themselves in a gripping story and embark on a journey full of danger and discovery. On Pandora, Jake experiences the truth of an enchanting new world while simultaneously preparing for his decisive battle.
On August 21, excerpts from the film will be presented exclusively in 3D worldwide. German audiences will also have the opportunity this coming Friday to immerse themselves in the world of Avatar and experience almost 20 minutes of footage.
Admission is free at all cinemas. The eagerly awaited tickets (only while stocks last) are available directly at the respective cinema box offices.
