Constantin Film AG generated revenue of 95.5 million euros in the first half of 2009 (June 30, 2008: 110.3 million euros). The 13 percent decline is attributable to the expected decrease in revenue from theatrical exploitation, home entertainment and television.

In the in-house and co-productions segment, Constantin Film AG recorded revenue of 82.4 million euros in the past half-year (previous year: 85.9 million euros), and 13.1 million euros in the third-party productions segment (previous year: 24.4 million euros).

Constantin Film AG generated an operating result of 0.6 million euros in the reporting half-year (June 30, 2008: 9.1 million euros), mainly resulting from lower theatrical and home-entertainment exploitation revenue due to release schedules.

Because of the currently good performance of our films MARIA, IHM SCHMECKT’S NICHT! and HORST SCHLÄMMER - ISCH KANDIDIERE!, as well as the promising theatrical releases of WICKIE UND DIE STARKEN MÄNNER (September 9, 2009) and DIE PÄPSTIN (October 29, 2009), we continue to expect successful business performance. We confirm our objective of achieving a positive operating result of between 10 million euros and 12 million euros in 2009.
