More than 25 years of experience in building excellent microphone preamplifiers underlies the design of this new interface, which features two award-winning Focusrite mic preamps. In combination with professional conversion, this guarantees the highest degree of outstanding sound quality.
Alongside the two Focusrite preamps, two balanced TRS jack outputs and four RCA outputs are available. Added to these are the flexible monitoring options and a headphone output with sufficient level reserves, which also make Saffire 6 USB an ideal interface for digital DJs. Conversion at the highest quality ensures that audio quality from the computer is outstanding. Laptop DJs also find ideal conditions for cueing in a club, with an A/B source switch for monitoring and two stereo outputs.
Saffire 6 USB comes with all the tools needed to start making music immediately. The latest version of the Focusrite Plug-in Suite represents a real improvement over conventional sequencer effects and includes compressor, reverb, gate and equalizer as high-quality VST/AU effects. The familiar Xcite+ bundle with Ableton Live Lite, Novation’s Bass Station software synthesizer and 1 gigabyte of “Royalty-free” samples from Loopmasters and “Mike the Drummer” is also included.
Focusrite’s Saffire 6 USB performs its work reliably and unobtrusively in the background and comes to the fore only with its excellent sound quality. It captures every detail in a recording and transfers it losslessly into the digital world without problems. Saffire 6 USB guarantees a carefree and completely new musical experience.
Saffire 6 will be available from the end of October at a recommended retail price of 189 euros.
