TEKKEN 6 Is on the Way

Development is complete, the release date is set, and online features are now known.

The mighty and fearless would soon have the opportunity to become TEKKEN gods: NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe announced that development of TEKKEN 6 was complete. The sixth King of Iron Fist Tournament will be released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 29 in a standard version and also in Arcade Stick and Limited editions, both packed with new online and offline gameplay features and the largest character roster ever. An exclusive TEKKEN 6 PlayStation 3 hardware bundle will also be available in selected regions.

For the first time, NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe also fully reveals the extensive content of the online gameplay features. The characters’ lightning-fast response times and consistent 60 FPS ensure that TEKKEN 6 players around the world can come together to compete for the title of TEKKEN god.

- Climb the rankings through hard training to improve your fighting skills.

- Compete online against opponents worldwide with full chat functionality;

Data Upload & Download:

- Create your own ghost characters that accurately imitate your fighting style and upload them;

- Any player in the world can download your ghost character to fight against it, whether you are online or not;

- Upload replays of your best matches to share them with friends and opponents around the world.

- Online Co-op Campaign

- New feature appearing that winter after launch as a free downloadable update;

- Set out together in this exciting co-op campaign against AI-controlled opponents and experience the dramatic large-scale action with friends around the globe.

- Leaderboards

- Battle Points: online only, divided into World, Asia, America and Europe categories;

- Rank: shows the overall online and offline ranking, from beginner to TEKKEN god;

- Further rankings are available for ranked games, co-op campaign, Time Attack and Survival.
