This approved the title for ages 18 and over and ensured release of the PC game in an uncut version at the beginning of November. The brand-new Serious Engine 3 gave the action classic Serious Sam: The First Encounter a thorough polish, and it now shines in high-definition visuals.
The uncomplicated game mechanics, hordes of bizarre enemies and legendary sound effects also ensure a humorous gaming experience for adult action fans in the HD update. In addition to the single-player campaign, PC players can look forward to gripping multiplayer modes with up to 16 participants.
Serious Sam HD — The First Encounter was expected to be released for Windows PC on November 19, 2009, at a recommended retail price of €19.99.
