Dolby Pro Logic IIz was selected because the technology can transform home entertainment by adding a height dimension to the surround-sound listening experience for music, films and games.

Dolby Pro Logic IIz, a matrix-decoding technology for audio, gives home entertainment depth and dimension by using front-height channels in 7.1- or 9.1-channel audio.

Dolby Pro Logic IIz was introduced at the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show and is available in audio/video receivers from Denon, Integra, Marantz(r) and Onkyo.
