The Asian TV Awards took place for the 14th time in 2009. The awards ceremony is regarded as a “springboard” for international marketing. According to the festival, last year’s winner in this category, “Dogstar,” was sold to more than 20 countries.

Little Krishna is airing successfully on Nickelodeon India and now also in Brazil. Reasons given for the award included the 3D animation and a strong storyline that conveys educational themes to children in an appealing way.

The award was presented to Steve Walsh, Managing Director of Evergreen Entertainment, the worldwide distributor of Little Krishna.
