Adobe has launched its annual creative competition for the most promising talent among students and trainees in digital media. The 2010 Adobe Design Achievement Awards (ADAA) cover a range of creative disciplines, including animation, motion graphics, illustration, browser-based design and app design. All categories and additional information can be found on the competition website. Participation is open to both individuals and groups, but all participants must still be in education or training.
For AADA winners, Adobe is offering, among other things, cash prizes worth USD 3,000, trips to Los Angeles and the “Adobe Max” conference, and product prizes. Participation requires submitting a work created since May 1, 2009. The work must have been produced primarily with Adobe products. Competition entries must be submitted through the AADA website; the closing date is June 4, 2010.
