To mark its fifth anniversary on March 8, 2010, Deutsche POP is offering 100 practical courses for only 999 euros each (instead of 1,794) from March 8 to 31, 2010.

The areas available are music, audio, management, communication, design and visual media, with practical courses such as “Live Musician”, “Graphic Designer” and “Beat Designer”. The offer applies both to first-time registrants and academy students and can be used once per person.

As early as 25 years ago, music support group founder Rüdiger J. Veith began offering initial and continuing education in instruments, band coaching, composition and audio, subsequently establishing a dedicated training division within the company. In 2005, this business division finally received its own name: in the presence of then Bavarian State Minister Erwin Huber, the academy Deutsche POP was officially launched on March 8, 2005. Since then, the academy has developed rapidly: it now has locations in Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg and Munich and offers a comprehensive programme of practical training in music and media.

The new Deutsche POP information brochure published for the anniversary provides all information on the current 38 practical training programmes, 41 individual courses and eight additional qualifications. Anyone wishing to experience music and media careers first-hand in workshops can do so at the next information day on Saturday, March 20, which takes place at every Deutsche POP location. Registration is requested at: http://www.deutsche-pop.de/infotag.
