Owners of a PC version of Assassin’s Creed II and/or Silent Hunter 5 who recently had difficulty connecting to Ubisoft’s servers will be compensated in the near future with an offer of free game content.

“Ubisoft’s goal is to provide its customers with a trouble-free gaming experience, and this offer of free game content is an expression of Ubisoft’s commitment to its fans, but especially to the customers inconvenienced by the outage of our servers,” Ubisoft explains in a press release.

The download offers will be tailored personally to each customer, depending on which title (and which version) they purchased. Ubisoft will shortly contact affected customers by email with further information.
