3D/game designers develop game environments, vegetation, vehicles and characters for computer games and then integrate them into current game engines. Other important elements of the training are machinima and special effects. Lecturers with professional experience teach students the content using powerful software in theoretical and practical lessons.
Anyone who is unemployed or at risk of unemployment can apply to the responsible employment adviser for an education voucher to finance the training. To do this, applicants must give the employment adviser the measure number on the basis of which the education voucher can be issued. The measure number for 3D/game design at L4 is 922/3095/10.
As a private vocational school, L4 is recognised by the Berlin Senate as a supplementary school and is accredited and certified in accordance with the Recognition and Approval Ordinance for Continuing Education (AZWV). In addition to 3D/game design, the Sound Designer/Music Producer, Music and Media Management, and Video Journalism courses can also be funded through an education voucher.
