The interaction of DVS SpycerBox with Blackmagic Design’s DaVinci Resolve and DaVinci Revival accelerates postproduction workflows considerably. Blackmagic Design confirms this through official certification of DVS SpycerBox. DaVinci Resolve systems were most recently used for colour grading and the creation of stereoscopic 3D effects in James Cameron’s blockbuster Avatar. Thanks to DVS’s storage solution, DaVinci Resolve and DaVinci Revival customers can manage their content centrally, share it with other applications and access the content at any point in their workflow – in real time for SD, HD, 2K and even 4K data.
SpycerBox is DVS’s versatile, modular storage solution: integrated as a fast and reliable storage system, SpycerBox improves workflow efficiency substantially. Configured as NAS, SAN or a combination of both, SpycerBox increases the performance of file-based workflows.
DaVinci Resolve, Blackmagic Design’s digital mastering suite, received an Emmy for its image-enhancement expertise and offers a recognised toolset alongside the usual interfaces. DaVinci Revival is a high-performance system for film restoration and remastering that uses advanced tools to remove scratches, dirt and other unwanted effects. Like DaVinci Resolve, it handles the 2K field with ease and benefits from SpycerBox’s real-time performance. Connected through Fibre Channel, SpycerBox reliably stores high-quality image material.
Customers who use Revival and Resolve in combination with the SpycerBox expansion gain enormous flexibility: SpycerBox can be used as NAS (Network Attached Storage) from all workstations. Postproduction houses benefit both from the advanced colour-grading system and from the powerful storage solution that multiple workstations can access directly.

The integrated DVS data-management software Spycer accelerates essential work processes. The efficient toolset enables browsing and searching of files, high-speed copying and defragmentation.
