This year’s competition theme is: WATER. The young filmmakers are invited to develop their own water story: why we need it, what it is and everything it can be for us, how it can be saved, what is at stake. The competition seeks stories that capture the fundamental importance of water.
The submission deadline is Friday, August 20, 2010.
The winners of the first three places will be invited to eDIT 13. Filmmaker’s Festival in Frankfurt from September 26 to 28, 2010. The winners selected by an international jury will be announced and honoured at the festival. In addition to the unique eDward trophy, cash prizes totalling EUR 4,000 and further material prizes will be awarded. Attention: all competition participants receive free admission to the entire festival!
