The screening is organised by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Germany and will take place in Berlin on June 29. Director Lee Unkrich and producer Darla Anderson will be available for a Q&A after the film. The screening begins at 5:30 p.m.; visitors should arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand. The film will be shown in its original version and has a running time of 108 minutes, including the supporting film.
DP is offering 50 places for this exclusive special screening. Anyone who wants to attend on Tuesday, June 29, simply registers via the link provided below on the DP website. The first 50 interested people will be placed on the guest list.
On top of that, everyone registered receives a free issue of DIGITAL PRODUCTION. And not just any DP, but issue 5, containing a making-of of “Toy Story 3” and an interview with Pixar stereographer Bob Whitehill. DP 05:10 will be published on August 26.
The promotion ends when all tickets have been allocated.

With TOY STORY, Pixar Animation Studios presented the first computer-generated feature-length cinema film in 1996, a milestone in film history. Three years later, audiences met cowboy Woody, Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear and their lovably eccentric toy gang again in Toy Story 2.
Now the creators are finally opening their toy box again and letting them out once more in TOY STORY 3! Little Andy, who owns the toys, is now a teenager packing his things for college. And there is no longer room for cowboys, Space Rangers or dinosaurs. For Woody and his friends, the day they had always feared has arrived: they are no longer needed – or so they think at first!
Director Lee Unkrich (co-director of “Toy Story 2” and “Finding Nemo”) and his team send the popular toy heroes on their biggest and funniest adventure yet: into a nursery! Amid this chaos of sticky little hands reaching for the “new” toys, their greatest challenge is first of all to stay together and not lose themselves – either whole or in parts: no toy may be left behind!
And suddenly they also face the resident toys at Sunnyside nursery: a wildly mixed toy troupe led by Lotso, a plush bear who smells of strawberries. Are all these toys really as warm, open and nice as they appear at first glance? And speaking of first glances: for Barbie and Ken (yes, that Ken), it really does seem to be love at first sight when they meet for the first time…
