Adobe MAX 2010

International meeting point for designers and developers focusing on the future of digital media and the web.

Adobe Systems is staging MAX 2010 from October 23–27, 2010, at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles (USA). Interested parties can register online now.

For five days, under the motto “Connect. Discover. Inspire.”, the MAX 2010 industry forum offers talks, interactive exercises and networking opportunities for designers, developers and decision-makers. Thematically, the focus is on three technology trends: seamless creation and delivery of content for a wide variety of devices, innovative business models surrounding digital content and applications, and new technologies that connect design and development workflows.

The MAX 2010 programme includes the following event formats:

• Preconference labs: intensive practical training

• BYOL (Bring Your Own Laptop) Labs: provide participants with new skills for working with Adobe software

• Russell Brown@MAX: a three-day interactive course showing art directors, designers, illustrators and photographers the latest tips and tricks in Adobe Photoshop CS5

• LiveCycle@MAX bundle: a programme for enterprise developers demonstrating the use of Adobe LiveCycle Enterprise Suite 2.5

And new this year:

• CS5@MAX bundle: training seminar for anyone creating content for screens of different sizes

MAX Awards 2010

Applications for the MAX 2010 Awards can now be submitted. The MAX Awards recognise the best use of Adobe software in creating expressive applications in categories such as Digital Publishing, Enterprise/Government Rich Internet Applications, Multiscreen and Social Computing. Submissions will be accepted online until August 13, 2010, at https://www.adobemaxsubmission.com/submission/.

Registration

Registration for MAX 2010 is now possible at https://max.adobe.com/registration/. Participants who register before August 15, 2010, receive an early-booking discount.
