Director Lee Unkrich and producer Darla K. Anderson have thus propelled the first animated film into the top-ten list of the most successful films. 40.5% of the revenue comes from the USA, while Buzz and company have taken in 14 million in Germany.
The only films now ahead of the Pixar heroes in the list of the world’s most successful films are (in ascending order) Batman, Alice in Wonderland, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lord of the Rings, Titanic and Avatar.
