After Effects Render Manager

With After Effects Render Manager, you can use the full power of the workstation to render projects – the command-line tool requires hardly any resources, and the After Effects interface would only place an unnecessary load on it anyway. Unlike previous ways of rendering without the program, Render Manager is enormously easy to operat, integrates with Backburner and can manage various jobs on a single computer even without a dedicated render farm. And the best part? Render Manager is absolutely free.

According to the manufacturer, Render Manager is intended to be so easy to use that even users without command-line experience can launch their first job within five minutes.

Render Manager works in three variants: first, it can simply process the entries in AE’s own “Render Queue”. Anyone who wants to work only in Render Manager without using AE can specify all settings there in the second mode. And anyone working with Autodesk Backburner can incorporate it in the third mode. Naturally, a complete render farm can also be included in this way.

There is naturally the option of entering all settings only once and then calling them up again – ideal for a workflow that often has to render recurring standard formats. Have we already mentioned that Render Manager is free?
