Chaos Group has seet the start of beta testing for 30.3.; after registering, users can now download and test a beta version at chaosgroup.com – Vray. The beta version is available to all who already have a V-Ray licence or pre-ordered Vray 2.0.
V-Ray 2.0 now supports interactive GPU/CPU rendering, as well as new functions and error improvements in V-Ray RT and V-Ray RT GPU, faster rendering of dynamic geometry such as displacements, fur, hair and proxies, VRayCarPaint material, VRayToon Shader and more.
In addition, software developer Chaos Group announced that Vray 2 would be available as a Personal/Educational licence, which would then omit V-ray RT and PDPlayer.
