IKinema’s IK solution will now be used for Framestore’s broadcast and VFX projects.

The IKinema Solver could be used for a wide range of skeleton controls, Framestore said of its decision. Another advantage was a high level of time savings, as the same setup script could easily be applied to many shots. It was also now possible to extract tracked and filtered point-cloud data from the mocap software and use it to animate a high-res Sekeleton. IKinema had already been used for motion capturing an actor on a VFX project.
