From November 23 to February 15, headwear designers are invited to submit their works as 3D models to Materialise.MGX. The best 20 works will be printed and presented at a fashion show in Leuven at the Materialise World Conference from April 18 to 20.
The winners will be announced on March 1; first place wins a voucher for 500 euros and will be shown on a display in the .MGX Flagship Store in Brussels. The second- and third-place finishers receive a voucher worth 250 euros.
Conditions for the 3D models are:
– They must be a hair accessory for fashion models
– The color of the piece must be white
– A size of 20x20x20cm
– The file size must not exceed 100Mb
– Details must have a minimum size of 1mm in order to be printable
– For a valid entry, a render of the design and the 3D file itself are required
