Design Competition by i.materialise

Materialise .MGX specializes in printing design objects and has now announced a design competition for headwear.

From November 23 to February 15, headwear designers are invited to submit their works as 3D models to Materialise.MGX. The best 20 works will be printed and presented at a fashion show in Leuven at the Materialise World Conference from April 18 to 20.

The winners will be announced on March 1; first place wins a voucher for 500 euros and will be shown on a display in the .MGX Flagship Store in Brussels. The second- and third-place finishers receive a voucher worth 250 euros.

Conditions for the 3D models are:

         They must be a hair accessory for fashion models

         The color of the piece must be white

         A size of 20x20x20cm

         The file size must not exceed 100Mb

         Details must have a minimum size of 1mm in order to be printable

         For a valid entry, a render of the design and the 3D file itself are required
