If Adobe Apllication Manager has not already pointed it out, Premiere Pro CS6 should be patched with the new Update 6.0.1. Users working under Mac OSX 10.7.4 in particular receive significantly faster performance through improved OpenCL support. The XDCAM HD format received additional bit-rate options through the addition of new encoding presets. Furthermore, according to Adobe, the XDCAM HD and XDCAM EX formats are said to have been equipped with the option to enable or disable smart rendering as desired. The reason is that the exporter for the widely used broadcast format MXF OP1a received the Smart Rendering codec together with its settings.
There is also a whole range of bug fixes that provide general stability.
