Who would like to use a chair once sat on by a Digital Domain artist in Florida? The reason, namely Digital Domain’s insolvency, is sad, but now offers a unique opportunity. From tomorrow at 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, many attractive items from the DD department in Florida can be auctioned live in a global webcast auction. The remaining items will then be auctioned in a global online auction over the following two days, December 13 and 14.
Here is a selection from the extensive auction offering: In the PC area, HP Z800 workstations, IBM servers, Mac towers, MacBooks, MacBook laptops, Wacoms, Cintiqs and Quantum PCs will be auctioned. For film enthusiasts, there are media rooms with built-in cinema seats, Avid media workstations and, for smaller budgets, just film posters.
Anyone who wants to furnish a new office can bid for more than 250 Herman Miller chairs and office workstations—and, under the motto that everything must go, palm trees.
