The Teague Scene Checker (for V-Ray) script is for 3ds Max and, according to developer Colin Senner, ensures that 3ds Max scenes are examined for known problems with the V-Ray renderer and that what is currently happening in the scene is documented. This is intended to make it possible to optimise a scene before rendering with V-Ray. After Colin Senner had spent enough time with scenes that had extremely long render times, an easy-to-use script was needed to solve these problems.
After installation, the script provides information about what is currently happening in the scene, warns of problems and gives critical suggestions for improving a scene.
