The update brings improvements to the lighting of products or scenes and offers more options for selecting materials and colours. Visual production can also be integrated more easily into the product-development process.

In detail: one important feature is called Live Linking. It allows users to update models without having to adjust any settings or assign materials. Designs can be imported directly from Creo, SolidWorks or Rhino into KeyShot.

Automotive designers will be pleased with the Physical Lights function, which, as the name correctly suggests, uses physically correct light and can turn any geometry into a local light source.

Ready for spring: KeyShot now also has the entire Pantone and RAL colour palette in the system. This makes communication with designers and manufacturers easier. Also nice: the colours can simply be dragged and dropped onto the object, regardless of the material.

KeyShot now works with Mold-Tech textures, Rounded Edges and much more.
