The "Animated Fashion Award 2013" will be presented again this year. You heard correctly: it is about two areas that, according to the organiser, require a high degree of creativity: fashion and animation.
As part of the partnership between the fashion and lifestyle company Breuninger and the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS), which brought these two areas together for the first time in 2012, a the award for the best animated film on the subject of fashion will also be presented this year.
A selection committee made up of animation filmmakers and fashion designers nominates the three best submissions for the Animated Fashion Award, each endowed with 1,000 euros. The winning film receives 2,000 euros and the unique opportunity to produce a commercially used trailer (for Web 2.0) for Breuninger.
