Adobe has still not announced which version designation will follow CS6. However, in numerous videos the company offers a look at future features in Premiere Pro, After Effects, SpeedGrade, StoryPlus and Prelude.

Premiere Pro is expected to offer a new cross-clip effect copy function, a sound mixer, new audio effects and a range of new keyboard shortcuts.

Features in the new After Effects include an improved 3D Warp Stabilizer, a new rotoscoping tool for complex image content that needs to be isolated, and a closer connection between Cinema 4D and After Effects through two new technologies. We have already reported on these new features here.

According to Adobe, Adobe Audition includes a new Sound Remover that allows unwanted noise to be removed from audio tracks more selectively. A new Pitch Bender and Preview Editor have also been added to the tool. In the new release, SpeedGrade has a new Luma Waveform and a Shot Matcher for automatically matching the colour of scenes.

You can find overview videos for the various tools and individual features on the Adobe Next website.
