With Simpoe , headquartered in Torcy, France, Dassault is expanding its 3DExperience platform, which currently includes Simulia, Catia and SolidWorks, by a good 3,000 users. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Simpoe was the latest purchase in this year’s series. At the end of April, FE Design of Karlsruhe was acquired. Its Tosca optimisation suite will expand Dassault’s Simulia application in future.
The acquisitions this year began, however, with Archividéo, a company from Rennes, France, specialising in the development of 3D cities and landscapes.
