And of course, the IdeaCentre Horizon table computer is also suitable for other purposes because of its size, such as interactive networking on the conference table or as a television substitute for presentations. Lenovo’s IdeaCentre Horizon tablet with its 27-inch display is intended to be available from June 20 for 1,799 euros.
It is, of course, equipped with Windows 8, allowing it to be used both as an all-in-one PC at a desk and as a mobile tablet. When the computer lies flat on the table, touch control of the user interface activates automatically. The touchscreen monitor offers Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels; the device also has an Intel Core processor, 8 GB of memory, a hard-drive capacity of 1,000 GB, two USB 3.0 ports and an HDMI input.
Because the IdeaCentre Horizon tablet is primarily intended as an interactive gaming product for the family, the model has an "Eye Distance System" that warns users when they sit too close to the screen and adjusts the display brightness. Lenovo also offers various gaming accessories for the tablet, such as a joystick or electronic dice.
