With Kinect Body Pro, developed by Jasper Brekelmans, 3D animators are intended to be able to perform body motion caturing in the living room or office using a Microsoft Kinect sensor. One new feature of Brekel Kinect Pro Body 1.2, among others, is that the colour stream should no longer flicker occasionally. In addition, according to Brekel, a new filter algorithm has been implemented with significantly better smoothing and less delay, requiring only two parameters for optimisation. An additional filter pass for hands and feet is intended to allow them to be smoothed a little more.

Further small features include a higher-resolution MotionBuilder icon and more correct storage of sensor settings. The trial version for Windows is available here, and the retail version is also available there for 99 dollars.
