The idea behind the CTRL+Console app had already convinced a few people in advance, 888 to be exact, because the project was financed with the help of Kickstarter. In addition, a demo was already shown at the Adobe booth at this year’s NAB.
The app is intended to enable much more intuitive and faster control that benefits from the advantages of the iPad touchscreen, in contrast to working with a mouse or keyboard and the resulting masses of shortcuts.
The app is now available in the App Store and is structured as follows:
The QuickTime Controller is still available free of charge. As in-app purchases, users can add the Final Cut Pro Controller (4.49 euros), the Final Cut Pro Editor (26.99 euros), the Adobe Premiere Pro Controller (for 4.49 euros) and the Adobe Premiere Pro Editor (for 26.99 euros).
