Other top films that brought in a lot at the box office this year, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, are "Iron Man 3" (1.2 billion dollars), "Despicable Me 2" (806.8 million dollars) and "Fast & Furios 6" (786.7 million dollars).
Disney/Pixar films that had previously reached this record mark were "Toy Story 3" (1.6 billion dollars), "Finding Nemo" (922 million dollars) and "Up" (7,331 million dollars).
