Meshmixer 2.0 is intended to allow mesh models, which can be used for 3D printing, for example, to be edited. Existing meshes can be thrown together, files can be reworked, or scans of objects can be prepared for 3D printing.
New features in version 2.0 include a revised UI and new soft-transform tools in the Select/Deform menu. A new support-structure generation for 3D printing has also been added to the Overhang tools, along with new shading modes. In addition, a new XYZ mode has been added and numerical values can be entered directly for all parameter controls.
Meshixer 2.0 is available for Windows 32-bit and 46-bit as well as Mac OS X.
