In CopperCube, users can import or build their 3D models, then set the camera controllers, material and behavios, press "Publish", and the application should be ready. According to developer Ambiera, everything from a simple model viewer to a complete 3D game is possible. CopperCube is said to be ideal for 3D educational programs, architectural visualizations, military simulations, product configurators, games, e-learning applications and 3D prototypes.

WebGL websites, Flash, .swfs, Mac OS X, Windows and Android apps are supported. The application imports 22 file formats, for example from Lightwave, 3ds Max, Maya, Blender or AutoCAD. After import, models can be edited directly in CopperCube or updated if they were edited in the 3D software.

A scripting API is also available for users with programming experience. With it, users can create actions and behaviors via JavaScript that can also be shared with other users.

CopperCube can be used free of charge for 14 days, after which the Light Edition license costs 149 euros and the Professional Edition 380 euros. Copper Cube 4.4 is available for Windows and Mac OS X. Here is the download.
