The images available to the public are marked with an "Open Access for Scholarly Content" label (OASC). The images may therefore be used in all forms of media if the project’s background is scholarly. So all VFX and animation students have a free choice for their university projects.
But the images by the great masters may also serve trained artists as inspiration for textures or grading.
The JPEG images can be downloaded at a decent resolution; the files in our sample had a resolution of around 3800 x 2900 pixels at 150 dpi.
